As a freelance writer, Keara has been published in Introvert, Dear; SAD Mag; Understorey Magazine and Intermission Magazine. 

Keara was the head blogger/blogger coordinator for the Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Association from 2013-2017. Through her position, she strived to promote theatre based conversations within in the Vancouver theatre community.

In 2014 she was hired by ThreeWeeks Magazine to work as a festival reviewer for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She wrote and published reviews on a wide number of genres including drama, comedy, music and dance.
