As a freelance writer, Keara has been published in Introvert, Dear; SAD Mag; Understorey Magazine and Intermission Magazine

Keara was the head blogger/blogger coordinator for the Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Association from 2013-2017. Through her position, she strived to promote theatre based conversations within in the Vancouver theatre community.
